Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the services provided by Movers and Packers Dubai. By accessing our website or booking any of our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

Our Services

Movers and Packers Dubai provides professional moving and packing, handyman, furniture installation, curtain fitting, and general maintenance services including renovation work, water leakage repair, painting, AC work, and electrical services across Dubai and the wider UAE. The scope of each service is agreed between the client and our team before work begins and confirmed in writing through a job quote or booking confirmation.

Booking and Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed once you have received written confirmation from our team via WhatsApp, email, or any other written communication. We reserve the right to decline or reschedule any booking based on team availability, location, or scope of work. Changes to a confirmed booking must be communicated to us at least 24 hours in advance. Last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation charge.

Quotes and Pricing

All quotes provided by Movers and Packers Dubai are based on the information supplied by the client at the time of enquiry. Quotes are valid for the scope of work discussed and agreed upon. Any additional work requested on the day of the job that was not included in the original quote will be charged separately and agreed upon before proceeding. We do not charge hidden fees — any additions to the original scope will always be discussed and approved by the client first.

Payment Terms

Payment terms are agreed at the time of booking and confirmed in writing. Full or partial payment may be required before or upon completion of the job depending on the nature and size of the work. We accept cash and bank transfer. Invoices must be settled within the agreed payment period. Late payments may result in the suspension of ongoing or future work until the outstanding balance is cleared.

Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for ensuring that our team has clear and safe access to the property at the agreed date and time. For building-managed properties, the client is responsible for obtaining any necessary move-in, move-out, or work permits from building management in advance unless this has been agreed as part of our service. The client must ensure that the property is reasonably clear and ready for the work to begin at the agreed time. Any delays caused by the client’s failure to prepare the property may result in additional charges.

Damage and Liability

Movers and Packers Dubai takes every reasonable precaution to protect your property and belongings during all jobs. In the unlikely event of damage caused directly by our team during the course of work, we will assess the situation and work towards a fair resolution. Claims for damage must be reported to us in writing within 24 hours of job completion. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, damage caused by factors outside our control, or damage to items that were not disclosed to us prior to the job. Our liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the damaged item at fair market value and does not exceed the total value of the job.

Moving and Packing Services

For moving and packing jobs, the client must disclose all fragile, high-value, or oversized items before the move so that our team can prepare accordingly. Movers and Packers Dubai is not responsible for damage to items that were not packed by our team, items packed against our recommendations, or items that were not declared prior to the move. We recommend that clients personally transport irreplaceable items such as important documents, jewellery, and valuables.

Maintenance and Repair Services

All maintenance and repair work is carried out based on the agreed scope and quote. Movers and Packers Dubai is not responsible for faults or failures that arise from pre-existing conditions in the property that were not visible or detectable at the time of the job. Where a repair requires access to areas behind walls, under floors, or within structural components, additional costs may apply and will be communicated to the client before proceeding.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Movers and Packers Dubai website including text, images, graphics, and design is the property of Movers and Packers Dubai and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.

Third Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites for reference purposes. Movers and Packers Dubai is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any linked external websites. Visiting third-party links is at your own discretion and risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, Movers and Packers Dubai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability in any circumstance shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from the use of our services or website shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.

Changes to These Terms

Movers and Packers Dubai reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top. Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
